What is PPWR / EPR?
PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) is the EU law that requires every company placing packaged goods on an EU market to register with a Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO), report the weight of packaging they put on the market quarterly, and pay a fee. PPWR enters into force in August 2026 and replaces earlier national packaging directives.
Which countries do you support?
We currently generate ready-to-submit declaration files for Spain (ECOEMBES), France (CITEO), Germany (LUCID), Italy (CONAI), the Netherlands (Afvalfonds), and Portugal (SPV). More countries are in development — use the contact form to request yours.
How long does setup take?
Most teams are generating their first declaration pack within one hour. Connect your store (or upload a CSV), assign packaging BOMs to your products, and hit 'Generate'. The compliance checklist on the dashboard guides you through every step.
Do I need a PRO registration number to use the free plan?
No. You can import your data, build BOMs, and compute packaging totals on the free plan without entering any PRO IDs. You only need to enter your registration numbers when you download a declaration pack for submission.
Can I import data from Shopify or WooCommerce automatically?
Yes. We have native connectors for Shopify and WooCommerce that sync your orders on a schedule (daily by default). Amazon and manual CSV import are also supported on all plans.
Is my data safe? Where is it stored?
All data is stored in the EU (AWS eu-west-1). We use encryption at rest and in transit. Your uploaded files are stored in a private S3 bucket and are never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens after I download a declaration pack?
Each download includes step-by-step submission instructions for the relevant PRO portal, with direct links. The platform guides you through uploading the file to ECOEMBES, CITEO, LUCID, etc. and reminds you of the submission deadline.
