What we do
- Prepare the registration data with you before you open LUCID: company master data, the one VAT number the account accepts, tax number, national ID, the authorised person, the full list of brands and the packaging-type classification.
- Go through the steps with you in order while you complete them yourself: account and activation email, the registration, the dual-system contract, the first §10 data report.
- Review what you are about to submit against the documented mistakes: a second VAT number on the account, missing or incomplete brands, LUCID volumes that differ from the dual system's.
- Check the number you receive against the documented format and the public producer register, and store it in your Passport.
What you do
- Create the LUCID account and complete the registration yourself, as the producer. This step cannot be delegated to anyone.
- Confirm the declaration of truthfulness and submit.
- Choose a dual system and sign its participation contract.
- File the §10 data report in LUCID — also yours alone: a representative cannot take on data reports either.
Documented mistakes we review for
- Registration made by an agency or another third party — explicitly impermissible; not even the §35 representative may do it.
- More than one VAT number on the account — LUCID blocks it.
- Brands missing or incomplete — a mandatory §9 field, published in the register, which marketplaces check against.
- LUCID volumes different from the dual system's — the systems retrieve the reports, so discrepancies show.
